Default Best quad for playing?

KFX 700 all the way! Sorry, but the 660 raptors sound like go carts to me. Never heard one that actually sounded good. I know, everybody has there own opinion but that is from my own experience.</end quote></div>

I don't think buying a quad based on sound is a wise idea. Sure, its a benefit to like the sound of your machine, but definately shouldn't be the basis of the decision...

Buying a used sport quad is mixed bag of nuts. Expect it to need work and maintenance, because plenty of them are bought by riders who ride aggressively, and also by younger guys who might not maintain it properly or abuse it. Not bagging on younger guys, or sport riders, but who doesn't buy a sport quad to ride the $h!t out of it? My younger bro bought a 400ex, great little quad, but sold it due to it needing plenty of maintenance/repair...and wanting more speed/power.

Now, there are plenty of sporties in great shape, but in contrast to 'utes which are ridden slower, used more sedately, used sporties are generally in rougher shape...thats just how it is. The only way to guarantee an awsome running sport is to buy a new one.

By the same token that a Rappy 660 will need money/work to make it handle better, a 400ex will need money/work to make it more powerful/faster. Neither is a great choice for someone who wants a seriously reliable powerhouse. If he can swing it, a used Rappy 700 would probably be a better choice than either...or a 450.

Just my 2 cents...
