Mario and Larry,thanks for the compliments.Its takin all of us alot of trial and error to get there,but it feels good when you do.That is the best set-up i have ran so far.I had a great time racing and talking with all of you.Ive learned alot from over this season and my set-up is finally on point.Al's SandPig is tough to run with let alone beat.Im glad im even with him lately.Larry,you gotta be happy with yours.If i hadnt made the changes i have done you would have smoked me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]We had good competetive races,and that was the best fun.I was glad to be in them.

 

Oh did you guys race at night?Was there anyone racing? I had to get home to get my daughter,so i left before dark.

 

Al, Larry, Justin and I went to the hill Saturday night. We all got to beat Als stock DS but other than that it was a slow evening. Not alot of people at Dumont for Easter. The hill racing was fun as usual, luckily for me the sand was dry so I could at least play. Aaron, to bad you had to leave, we broke out the video camera Sunday morning. Well, then again, maybe it was best you left, LOL. There's enough videos of me getting blasted by DS's, don't need to see any YFZ's kicking my azz either. Mario, sorry I didn't race you very much but I was too busy building up My ego!

We've got some work to do before DS days. As of right now, my wife is not going. Just me and Josh. So I have plenty of room.

I figured one of the reasons I was able to beat Larry's 730 with my 703 is the weight difference. And I plan on having that thing at least 20lbs lighter by then.

Also, I finally bust out taller gears and did all right. In fact all the video that Dave shot on Sun. is with the taller gearing.

By the way Dave and Larry, Dave's buggy is alright. A bolt backed out of the transaxle causing the problems.

Al, Your bike has made a great improvement and so has your riding ability. We can do some more stuff here and there and grab some better power curves. I told ya you needed to go taller[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Larrys bike has alot of potential, He needs to go taller also, Theres only a certain MPH you can get with short gearing, But he probably hasnt had enough time to get it dialed in...I had a great time watching you guys race from a distance, It is cool that you all are so close and were battleing like that!!!! It reminded me of the old school days. Glad you guys made it back safe.
