Default Inputs needed - Intakes/CDI

Myster...........I didn't have any pinging. What happened at first were starter recoiling really hard if I would stall the bike or if it stalled on warm up. The bike would recoil so bad it sounded like my crankshaft snapped. It ultimately screwed up my sprag and the gear on the back of the magneto. The roller bearings flattened out. Those tow gears were over 300 bucks. Then when the cdi went bad my ds ran like it had a clogged main jet. I put my stock cdi back on, cycled the battery.....poof, perfect. I rode my friends baja with a tach on it. I was amazed where the power curves are and were it peaked at. I dont have a tach so I had no idea were the curves were on the ds. I was amazed that when I thought I was revving the bike to the moon, I wasn't even close to redline. IMO, I wouldn't spend money on a cdi...

The only CDI I would like to try is that Vortex from Australia that you can change curves on. I have a stock type CDI with no rev limiter off of a BMW f650.
