Arrow Can ANYONE figure this out?!?!

Hey guys,
I am just new to this Outlander thing. I have had a few ATVs, but it is my first Can Am.

It is a 2004 Outlander with the 400 ...... and I have a big problem!!

It now has starting and running problems ... it will not start normally.
It will ONLY start and run with the throttle Wide Open!
I took off the air filter, and gas is shooting out the intake while it is "barely" running. I am assuming this is because it is not running well at all. I have checked almost all the fuses that I can see ... and nothing!
Even if I put it in gear, it cannot get up enough RPMs to move this thing!

Please Help!!!!!!! I need my quad back!

Thanks!

Softap

Take the head cover off of your engine, measure your valves to specification and add shims or take them out. It is an easy fix, most likely it will be your intake valves.
Good luck!

Sounds more like a valve timing issue, rather than a valve clearance issue.
