Hey guy's and girls we are in the final stages of 350cc QUAD.
Its been 8 month now. Day and night 7 days a week 12 hour days.
I wanted to get some more ideas from the riders and readers.
What do you think if we mounted the battery in front of the ATV behind the front bumper. Easy excess, better weight distribution.
Any thoughts? I want positive and negative.
Name 3 things that you would want your quad to have if did not buy name brand ATV but wanted to feel as you did.
What do you think a 350cc quad should cost, If its not name brand but is built with same quality of parts?
I know you want to pay as little as possible but consider this a reasonable survey. Check other Chinese made and japan made units is this class of 350cc.
Guys i know these are hard questions. We are doing market research and want to know what we can do to make the next step.
Basic ideas needed.
We are growing and need advise from you, how to sell our Brand and what features we need.
Please don't compare your Jetmoto 250cc with this new project.
Just want ideas.
Thank you
Eugene

Hi Eugene!
I dont think the location of the battery is a big deal. (unless it dies a lot and needs to be jumped)
1) Chrome Moly Steel used for the complete frame/swing arm/ a arms. And possibly some aluminum in the swingarm or possibly the sub frame.
2) High quality rubber seals on all the pivot points. Swing arm, Shock linkages, A arms, etc....(it would be nice if all the rubber components used lasted for more than a year).
3) Adjustable compression and rebound damping on front and rear shocks.
4) Powder coat everything that will be painted.
Price will depend on how well it performs and for how long. If its a better quad than its competition you can get close to Japanese prices.
Did you guys get the no ball joint front end to work?
Any pics available of the front end yet?

Well if your going to put the battery up front intall a good quality air box under the seat. Say something like what the jet 250 Hunter uses. Also upgrade the headlight/start switch from what you have on the 150/250. Something with hi/low beam would be nice. Like mywifesquad mentioned upgrade pivot points. Like where the swing arm pivots with the rear frame. Put some "bling" on it like the handle bars/ grips maybe even alloy wheels but that might increase costs too much.
Oh and if possible a 5 speed plus reverse and upgraded shocks on the suspension like you'd find say on a Honda or yamaha sport quad.

Stick on some nice tires. The tires on the 07 JET 250 look to be pretty good.
Use good mounting hardware- nuts and bolts etc.
Offer one in a utility model with larger fenders etc. Or make some kind of add on rack and fender extensions etc. Then you could just bring over one model and a "kit" to make it into a sport/utilty type of quad. When we go on long trail rides we like to bring a cooler along.
Make sure it has a nice seat on it as in proper density of foam.

Thank you for the reply.
Please don't compare your older jetmoto's to this project.
Just offer best suggestions. Talk to me about features.
How much travel on the shocks you would want, seat height, width of the ATV. Size of foot pegs, give me details. I want to know.
This ATV will be a beast my goal is to compare this to any Japanese or Taiwanese ATV in its class.
