Starting issues!
Hi, I’m new to this forum and only 16 so not that experienced with engines.
I have a 125cc Chinese quadbike (interceptor), and have had several issues over the years, (carburettor, kill switch, electrical wiring etc.).
When starting my ATV the starter motor spins really fast but the engine won’t crank. If I fiddle slightly with the wires from the solenoid to the starter motor it will crank, however not able to start properly. I’ve regularly changed the oil in it and had a new carb put on it over Easter time.
Has as anyone else has this issue or knows what to do? Help is much appreciated! Thanks.

No problems anymore!
I have drained the fuel and put fresh in as a maintenance job and have checked all the electrics and their connectors. I soon noticed a wire at the front near the CDI was loose. After squeezing the connector tighter the neutral light showed up on the handle bars. After this, I tried starting it again and it fired right up after a almost a year of sitting still!
If any one is interested in buying a 125cc Chinese quad bike, please contact me as am now looking to sell as it is running smoothly.
Thanks,
👍🏻
