help just bought (2) 125cc used no title just bill of sale, my question is how can i tell if they are coolsters or tao`s? ..... they are 2017`s i have vin numbers and model numbers say... BF-ATV125G on both, i have 1 pic to post holler if u need more....
anyway any help is appreciated


only real stickers say 125cc right on tank?

 

There's usually an aluminum Identification plate somewhere on the front of the frame. Sometimes tough to find if someone spray bombed the frame.

 

yes it has the plates with the vin and model number but no name? on either 4 wheeler?

 

I have a similar one now and it's a Tao Tao Cheetah. Either way the Tao Tao and Coolster parts are mostly the same from what I've seen.

Only repaired one Tao Tao, they don't seem to be as popular in the UK as in the US, but fairly sure it had Tao Tao on the aluminium makers plate. Put the vin into Cyclepedia's vin decoder, it often comes up with a maker, if little else. Just noticed cylinder fins appear to be the "wrong way" on that red bike, that is fairly distinctive, as most Honda Cub clones use lengthways fins, same as Honda Cubs.
