400 sportsman or 400 eiger
I have to sell either my 2002 400 polaris sportsman with3500 miles on it that I have had for 5 years or the 2003 400 suzuki eiger we just bought 2 weeks ago with 4500 miles on it for my girlfriend as we just bought a 2007 kodiak 350 with 1000 miles on it that my girlfriend decided she wanted instead of the suzuki as the kodiak is smaller and she likes that better.I know mine has independant suspension and the suzuki doesn't but maybe the suzuki will be more reliable down the road. Just curious about peoples opinions so thought I would ask. thanks

I have an 07 Eiger. Pretty impressed with it for a mid sized machine. Lightweight, easy to handle and nimble. Good power for a FC machine.
The pros: Suzuki seems to think ahead. Pre wired for winch, predrilled holes for mounting the contactor, easy access drain plug on the clutch if you get water in there. Nicely sealed differentials. Hi/ Low gears. Switchable 2wd/4wd.
The cons. No locking diff. Luggage racks could be bigger. Seat is a bit too firm. The intake snorkel could have been in a better/higher spot. The plastic skid plate is very cheaply made- mounting ears are way too thin. IRS would be nice for those bumpy rides.
