Rancher for Rhino

Rancher for Rhino
I think I will buy a new Rhino 660 and sell my 2001 Rancher. I think I will use the Rhino more than the Rancher as my wife can ride with me (and also my son and I can use it to hunt with). I hate to go to a Yamaha as I have had no problems with the Rancher but it only has 1,200 miles on it. Is this a good trade?

I would wait a bit. Honda is coming out with a utility vehicle like the Rhino next year. My friend is a parts manager for a local Honda dealer and just got back from Indy where they showed the new ride. He says it is going to be really nice and bury the Rhino. Plus you don't have to worry about a slipping belt!

Yeah I saw that Honda "Rhino" too--don't forget it's the April edition of Dirt Wheels. Last year they had a new 8-wheeler featured in the, eh hem, April edition.
Unless someone really knows about a Honda side-by-side, I would make the trade if you think you'd be happier with the side-by-side and you get a good deal.

Thanks Porka, That is my thoughts too. I can trade this year and maybe be so p***ed off in a year or two at the Yamaha that I will be ready to trade if Honda makes a side by side. I think the Rhino would be great to haul salt to the cattle , fix fence and of course hunt with. I like my Rancher, I have only about 1,200 miles on it but have done nothing but change oil in it. I think I will ask $4,000 with a snow plow. Too much money? The Rhino 660 is priced at $8,650, any better prices out there?
