how loud did the mega max 2 make your quad?

 

Depends on how many discs were in the end cap, I could tune it to be as quiet as a car, or up to about twice as loud as stock.

I had all the discs on, I think it comes with about 9 of them

 

I was looking at other exhausts for the recon and found FMF powerline and supertrapp disc system 2. Which would be a better one?

 

I don't like fmf 4 stroke exhuausts, so the supertrapp would be my first choice, the second choice would be the powerline.

 

Does a 250ex exhaust sound diffrent?Would it give me any power and would I need to rejet if i put a 250ex exhaust on?

 

it's been years since I heard either of them with the stock exhaust, but I think the 250ex's is actually a little quieter than the recon's. You wouldn't have to rejet, but for the price of the 250ex's header and silencer you wouldn't be far off from having enough for a supertrapp.

 

Dang!! All I probally can do is just have fun with it for about a year then get a new quad.What would you recomend? I want a sport quad.

 

Depends on how much you want to spend, and how much maintainance you want to do but for your size and age i'd say a 300ex would be a good pick, a 400ex wouldn't be too much for you to handle either.
