i recently bought a honda 4-wheeler , and dont know the year or model. how can i use the vin number to find out

a little off topic... Why did you buy an ATV not knowing the year or mod.... How did you know how much to pay... Do you know the engine size...


on topic, there should be a description of the bike on the frame, with the vin, usually says the year and model... might be under the gas tank somewhere...

Got to agree that it's a pretty dumb idea to buy a vehicle and you don't even know the model and year. No doubt it is stolen, and you are now in posession of stolen property.........

 

Maybe he picked it up at a garage sale cheap or something. Doesnt mean its stolen....

 

It certainly increases the odds!!!

ok if its a utililty fourwheelr go to the front end look under the plastic and on one of the bars under the plastic it will have a sticker that says the year !!

 

Thank you four your help. My brother in law bought it for $50 dollars. The clutch is out. I dont think its a Honda anyway. The people he bought it from said they bought it at a Tractor Supply Co. The motor is a 90cc two stroke. The vin number is RFLNA092X1A005594. By the way my brother in law is not a thief. Hes one of those people that always comes across deals. I know everybody has a friend or relitive like that.
