Which Honda is the best?

The 350 engine is the one we rebuild more than all the others put together. In fact we now have a re-bored 350 cylinder and piston "on the shelf" ready for the next one coming in. Not entirely Honda's fault as the reason is owners run them out of oil. A small oil capacity, the tendency for a slight leak from the gearchange spindle, and the fact air cooled engines do use oil, means seized 350s are common. Why the earlier 300, which has a similar oil capacity, doesn't seem to seize much, I don't know. The water cooled models don't use as much oil and hold about 3 litres, so are nothing like as prone to seizure.
