I don't know, I'll have to do some experimenting to see how it handles rain and water being splashed over the top when it is mounted on top like that. That's my only concern. keep us updated on the pro's and con's of mounting it on top like that if you would.

We have 3 rincons done like this and there is no downfall to this at all .

When I wash my rincon or even splash threw water all day it never gets wet in the air box.

I'll be doing some checking on the bike today or tomorrow, sunk her pretty good twice today and of course she stalled on me.

I used a pressure washer today after the ride to clean her up, think htat may get water in there? I'll have to check the drains.
