Default V-Force Tie Rod

Who has the best and cheapest replacements for Tie Rods? I bent mine. I think the ends are still ok though...
Any suggestions would help.

i bent my left tie-rod too. i called my dealer and and they told me the part wold be 40 bucks plus 2hrs of labor at 75 bucks an hour. instead i found a tie rod at fay meyers for 18 bucks and changed it out myselft in 15 minutes. very easy fix-up there are only two knuckles to unbolt and then re-thread the new tie-rod. just make sure that you mark on the new rod how far to turn in to the knuckle so that you keep the same toe-in angles. good luck

The heavy duty replacements from JD Performance were only $65 and are much heavier than the stock ones, well worth it in my book. Someone here just slipped a piece of pipe over the stock one and welded it up for a less expensive (and probably just as durable) fix, they have pics somewhere.

I bent my stock ones so bad they had a wiggle to them, and one of them bent just from riding, no collisions or wipeouts. The other one, well....

Default V-Force Tie Rod

Part Number: 39111-1180
Description: ROD-TIE
Price: $6.47
this is per www.ronayers.com
I went to buykawasaki.com looked up the tie it's under frame section for some reason but if they want to charge you 40$ your getting screwed you could buy 6 of them from ron ayer's and have money left over.

Sweet. You guys are awesome! I am all about cheap. I am under the impression that they are made so weak so that you don't break something more expensive. I'd rather by a dozen of them then have to replace the suspension or something. THanks for the help.
