Kawasaki 700 VS Polaris 700
Wiley. To me center of,& low center or weight means I can use my body better to keep the machine from turning over.I dont need the gas container at the highest point. The P 700 doesn't have hightest ground clearence, thats true unloaded. The vtwin motor allows for a lower stance.Put the gas weight low & you have the weight closer to the ground.Which gives you a more responsive machine.

I used to ride mud myself, but go out of that also. It is more of a hassle than it is worth and is very hard on atvs. I ride cross country now and mountain trails. I ride a somewhat modified Rincon and unless I am on flat pavement, my guess is that you would have a very hard time leaving me on the trail. My slow Rincon will hang very close to modified P650s in the drag. It does even better on the trail. However, to each his own. I prefer the IRS and always have. I can see why some people prefer the SRA and if that was my preference, I would also own as P700.

I think the only thing they have is speed, but even that is only in a drag race on smooth terrain. .

I now ride a Rincon, but most of my experience has been on Polaris. I have seen many P650s tip where I rode my SP500 on off camber trails. The Sp500s "feel" like they want to tip, but are actually as stable or more stable on off camber trails than a P650.
