The fuel tank is not supposed to have a vented cap. After you ride a while you will notice when removing the cap it will puff. The farmers cap will do in a pinch but as with murphy's law, you will not find your old one untill you buy a new Kawasaki cap. It is most likley very close to where you last refeuled.

Mike Pendland at Pendland Brothers Racing, sells billet accesories... shift *****, gas caps, oil tank caps etc... I think he has 5-6 different logo Billet items...

I was paging through a snowmobile acccessory catolog the other day, & several of the sled gas caps looked like they may fit the Prairie, as well...???

WELL... this is funny... not... I was gasing up the quads & my truck, last week, before the mud races, & must have left the "big" prairies capo on the seat... I had to do both mud races, with duct tape for a gas cap... pretty scary considering how deep the mud was on Sunday... anyway... I called the dealership, before searching for this thread, & was shocked to find out how expensive it was... I did a search, & brought up this thread again... I'll likely look for the chemical cap that fits, unless anyone has one, that they want to part with ??? is Pendland still getting $75.00 each for his... if so, too rich for my blood...

watch your caps guy's... they want an arm & a leg, for replacements...
