Rock, I have never run the stock air filter. I would put money on the air flow being much better with the K&N which leads to that healthy feeling.

No, I was talking about Davinator, with his statement about getting belts for $3.15 a piece and throwing it in our faces. What do you think about it, pretty inmature.
Here is his statement:
(I know nobody wants to here this but I have a connection at the Dayco Plant and got five belts for 3.15 each. No I can't become your distributor, but I am fixin to get a whole case because we know have a Brute in the stable.)

Well I have about 150mi on the 2018, lost 2mph top speed, didn't need to shim. So far so good, but the 2018 was only .010" wider than OE, it seems they vary quite a bit. I mainly purchased it for the price. I do alot of pulling and work, figured the original was glazed, got 1100mi. on it.

I have ran the Dayco belt now for about 200 miles , with no wear . The real test will be when i stop riding these river beds " sand" and get back into the deep mud , which will be within the next month or so.

Boy that would have been hard to do in my case. The biggest piece of belt that I found was about 3 inchs long. It totally shredded that burger. Does anyone carry tools like that on the trail to change a belt? I am planning on trying one next time. I'll probably need another one, I just purchased a set of 26" mudders for it! Have a great ride! DennisC
