Default BF650 vs. BF650i

A local Kawi dealer is going out of business and I just got a price of $5400.00+tax no freight or set up, for an 06 BF650. I currently ride a Z400 set up for XC +1, RAZORS, Shocks etc.. I like the idea of the SRA because I have never owned a ute before but is the 650i a much better quad, do they have the same engine and just a diff frame/susp/plastics? Is $5800.0 OTD a good price for the 650?

i dunno about the price, but lots of people prefer the SRA. i happened to like the IRS, but i won't pretend that my choice is best for you. the performance of these two could be made even with the price difference (maybe more). bottom line- IMO you won't be handicapped with a SRA if that is what you want.

NO! I paid $5300 OTD for my 06 BF 650i. The 650 should run you about $500 less. Shop around the net for some good online dealers. You can also do a search on the ATV forums for online dealers.

How is that possible? Does that price include sales tax? I bought the 650 for $5400+tax(7%)+title OTD was $5818. I have several dealers near me and they all deal, alot, including the forum sponsor A&B Xtreme and that was the BEST price I found. I checked in Toledo, Oh, where I bought my Z400 and they were 5699+tax so were several other dealers in Cleveland and Columbus and Pittsburgh, Pa. I basically called every dealer within 2 hours of me and the price I paid was the BEST I could find, the dealer I bought it from is going out of business.

BTW, I made the right decision with the 650 vs the 650i for the way I ride. The SRA, while not as smooth as the IRS, handles awsome(as far as I can tell in the 7miles I've put on it). It slides like my XC quad and the power is ridiculous. The only other Ute that I have put alot of time on is a Polaris 500 HO so I wasnt really expecting much from the BF, I WAS WRONG!!!!

TCMAN.wher did you get that price. I haven't heard of anyone getting their quads for anything close to that cheap. I thought I did great with my price. I paid 6210.00 for my 650i, and that was after several dealers haggling each other.

Decided on the '07 BF 650 SRA. Got it for $6650 OTD. The best deal that I found was for $6300...but I opted to pay a few hundred dollars more for the convenience of buying 5 miles down the road. He had to order it to get an '07 in Team Green...so I should have it by next week.

I don't know if I got a good deal or not. I paid $5800.00 before taxes on a 06 brute 650 camo. I guess it dosn't matter if it was a good deal or not as long as think it was a good deal thats all that matters.
