I think for now I'm gonna stay on the safe side and keep the 135f and 140r. Temperature swings are the real deal around here! 55 in the AM and sometimes 95 by 3pm. It feels like this combo will be the best compromise for the temp and altitude of this area.
I wish there was a more definitive way of determining mixture besides plug reads. From what I've seen so far I don't have a lot of confidence in this method. If we lived in a BIG town maybe I could use a dyno equipped with an exhaust gas analyzer.

Can someone please tell me what type of main jet is in the 650? I have a DiamondG snorkel on order, and I want to get the jets ahead of time. The dealer I checked with wanted to know if it was a “slotted” or “hex head” main jet?

Thanks.

Main jets are slotted.
Screws into the emulsion tube which is hex head.
