I started out with the progressives at half their adjustment and found that they topped out easliy and were a little harsh. I readjusted them as low as they will go and they are awesome now. No more push or dive in hard cornering and still as smooth as stock.
They are worth the time and money.

I just had to replace my steering post, handle bars, front bumper and some plastic. As NovaKaw said you will probably want to remove the stem and look at it. I didn't think mine was bent to bad until I removed it. It is quite time consuming removing it due to the amount of plastic needed to be removed. I purchased my parts from Text. Paid 105 for the post and 32 for bars. If the shaft is not kinked I would take it to a shop with a press and have it straigtened. I was going to do that with mine because the stem was b/o. I cancelled the order then the next day the dealer received it so they offered it to me at his cost, 85 bucks.

Progressive Front Springs the best investment yet, along with the taller tires & all of the other stuff I have put on, this Prairie 650 really handles great, no more push/dive on the front end when really pushing the 650 hard & fast. If you adjust too firm, well, then you will get a harsher ride. Lately I have them set at the lowest setting.
You may want to check ebay.com for a pair of Progressive springs, I picked up mine there for $132 NIB & put them on myself with a strong arm friend.
There may be a pair right now up for bid, there seems to be at least one pair up for bid every week.

bfb650b2, what are gel pads? Do they replaced the padding (rock hard on the 650) or are they some sort of cover. If they make the 650 seat any softer where can I buy some?

Bosox,

You realize if you purchase those ITP C-Series Wheels I won't be able to ride with you.
I can't ride with someone who has a nicer ride than me.....

Yes, I posted it under another thread.

ITP will not sell to tire centers anymore...they sell exclusively to motocycle/atv dealers now. The guy i was working with at discount tires said it was to keep their markup value in tact and keep the dealerships from complaining. Discount did say they could still get douglas wheels...but douglas doesnt have the same markup ... for the douglas wheels it was $62 each. Not nearly as good but i wouldnt have to pay the ridiculious mounting fees. He is going to check monday/tues to see if they can get the douglas billits for that...douglas has these ultimate wheels that i believe look just as good if not better than ITP's...Douglas calls them ultimate wheels ... they are posted on their website...good looking.
