Can't figure this one out, uphill stalling???

the carb bowl operates just like a toilet bowl
when the water rushes out of the tank,,,,the valve lets more in
in your case,,,it may be letting in too much when it tilts back
sorry if im rambling......just trying to give you a clearer picture

After making sure that there isn't a fuel problem, I'd look toward the CDI.
At first I was thinking fuel, but the more I read, I think it's electrical.
Did you try the stock CDI?

I didnt even think of the cdi until LT80 brought it up. The Polaris has a diff wiring set up than others. I know some cdi's won't work right unless it is a wired right. Just guessing. We had a problem with my boys 90 after we put a new pipe on it, it kept acting like it was running lean. Messed with the carb check the plug mess with the carb check the plug,on&on&on. Finally started checking for air leaks around the cylinder and head . Found one around the exhaust, tightened the bolts still there, took it off to check the gasket and found the weld below the flange on a brand new pipe was cracked. Every time Tyler would go out and test it he would get up to full throttle, back off a little and it would suck air in causing it to lean out at top speed. Just a little info, Don't know if any of it will help. Keep everybody posted

These are all good suggestions. I will try each and everyone til I get this. Will keep you posted. BTW I did put the factory CDI in and it ran good for about 30 mins. then back to the same #@%^.

Still working this, could the float be stopping the bowl from refilling? I shut the fuel off and ran it up the hill and it went fine until it ran out of gas. Or is it an overflow problem?

At the San Bernadino GNC round 1 last year, some mini's had a problem with the long hill. They used gas faster than it could come in.
How about this... remove the fuel supply hose from the carb and run the fuel into a can.Time it to see how long it takes to run a certain amount of fuel. Then remove the carb bowl, connect the fuel line and do the same test.
This may help with actually knowing how much fuel can get past the needle valve in the same amount of time or volume.
What's Rich Hetrick have to say about it?

WOW!!After all this, it turns out that the jet that was sent with my Z shield and K/N intake was shorter that the stock jet. On uphillsclimbs when I guess the shorter jet wasn't in gas. Once I put a longer jet in it is good. Thanx for all your help!
