Hate to shatter colt1126's illusions but I've worked on a couple of Polaris 90s and they were Chinese.

"Been almost 3 years now, I'd guess he's outgrown the 90 by now"
It'd help if the op's would stick it in a new thread like it needed in the first place.

"I've worked on a couple of Polaris 90s and they were Chinese."
I've also worked on their sub standard machines. ""PURE"" polaris parts..made in china..PURE junk!
They send the chinese polaris to England. We get the Tiawanese version.
It's sorta like the French Canadians getting back at us lowly americans by selling us junk Elka shocks...LMFAO

But anyways, onto the current version of this thread..Lol

I see BRP is recalling their 70 and 90cc models for safety repairs. Of course, they're made in Asia too.

I hope he was never seriously considering buying a 90cc quad to ride for himself. And at $1000, that's no bargain. You can buy plenty of adult sized quads for that. I sincerely hope he was just joking. Buying a kid's quad is just nonsense.

I ride adult quads, and I get what you're saying. However, I see things a little differently...and here's why: I have noticed that people get a kick out of different things. Have you ever been to the dunes and noticed the LARGE groups of adults that own and ride old HONDA ATC 70's? There are clubs and groups of adults that own and ride small atvs because they think it's fun, and of course they're not trying to climb the big hills or win races or anything like that, it's just a hobby. In my opinion, it's a pretty cool hobby. I'd rather own and ride a small ATV, than own and small RC plane that I can't fly in, or a small hobby train that I can't ride in, but those hobbies also have huge followings. I see no reason why an adult might not enjoy owning/restoring/riding a small ATV that is cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, and still capable and fun to ride. Just my .02, but I get where you're coming from.
