LT80 w/PVL top-end stutter!

I checked ohm's today at stator and they were 188.7. I was just wondering if the factory ignition ohm spec is around 185 why is the spec of a pvl different? They told me the pvl spec is between 162-179ohms. Would a factory set-up work on this LT?Do I need a new stator or could this one be fixed?Just trying to get him back in action,Thanks

To be honest I did'nt ask anything about the coil.I had a local shop owner to check it and he told me that it was good,I should have asked how to check it to since I had him on the phone.Jerry at penton said to check ohms between the black/blue wires and if its good its between 162-179 and mine was 188.7 so I just hope thats my problem atleast I would know what to fix so he can get in one some racing action before the seasons over.

Was just wondering cause I just checked rollers after some rodeo practice and found that the center metal pieces came completely out of the teflon outer shell! Never had that happen before. A friend of mine had offered some rollers that he runs in his Apex just didnt know if they would work, look to be same size.

No this is on the machine with your motor. The broken face is on the Grissom.
I changed out the rollers and it done fine saturday at the rodeo.
Would it be easier on the clutch components if I was to lighten 4 or 6 rollers to weigh the same as 3 factory rollers because it runs best with 3 factory rollers?
