Mr. Muddy4life,
I thank you for your explanation. With that being said, you should not have a problem with explaining to the new audiance about your brotherhood with Richard R in the past when the 2 of you were " swinging it out on the MATVA forum" about something that happened in a up north hotel that you yourself confronted him with because you were MAYBE upset about him upstaging you on who is in charge here. Admit it or deny it. Which ever way YOU choose to go, I have the original thread/conversations and I think a lot of folks here would or should read them just to understand how sincere of a person they think you really are.... Sometimes your past catches up with you and you may have to admit to your faults or continue to BS the congregation. Again, not putting you down, but just be honest with everyone and admit that to get to where you claim to be at, you may have made some wrong decisions or maybe not. The ball is in your court and I hope you have the stones to bone up to the good folks here. I do not know, maybe they do not care. I DO.......

Glad you could post here and inform the mass' about what's going on in Michigan, BusyRider. Sometimes no matter how sincere you are about the effort, some will be doubting Jane reguardless. Such is our friend, whom we've obviously lost along the trail, in such short distance, he may as well be considered short sighted forever. One of the things he didn't mention is that dirt bike riders do also have ATV's and would like to know/ride with the like. The combination does work well.
I am the president of ATVOffroad Club. BusyRider is a hard worker for ORV users in Michigan. BB knows that and will use any form of "word tricks" to confuse the issues. However, it is good to have those involved in conversation that have the mind set to continually ask questions without confusing the issues. Dialog is good for the sport, good for the riding families, good for us all... BB writes like a legislator... You almost want to believe he knows what he's talking about. Most of the time, it's worth it to read his first and last paragraph.
I don't want to put anyone to sleep so, I say, great reading and I hope you will spend more time broadening your image BB.
Again, thanks to BusyRider for posting and continued success to all riders of the Michigan Trails System.
Chuck

Except for our relationship for instructing the safe and responsable use of ORVs to interested individules,RR and myself have little/no brotherhood or involvement with each other..His club did not work for many,as is evident of many of his past members that have left him and went with other clubs.

Now as far as our confrontation years ago?----
I have NOTHING to apologize to ANYBODY for..I lied about nothing either. The struggles RR and I had between us were not about power, but rather for YEARS of his continued inability to LEAD as a club President.I have no regrets for calling him out, period!.Things happen for a reason, and if anything, that war between him and I opened up ALOT of eyes.If that pissing session did'nt happen between RR and myself, than we more than likely would'nt have started the wonderful club we now belong to called ATV OFF ROAD CLUB of Michigan.

Today?
RR and I are on the same committee within the DNR ORV Safety Task Force.I thought he shared some good ideas and was also helpful, a value to have on this committee. You mentioned about RR also being MY mentor in an earlier post!---That'll be the day! Him and I have differant styles of instructing. And I'll just tell you this,it was'nt ME that broke my collar bone showing off in front of MY students.

If its my credabilty that your attempting to shatter here, just keep in mind that the same guy you are now bragging about [RR],lost a very large portion of his membership when I left his club, than when Jeff V left him six months later, lost another large portion of his membership too.

Credabilty?
Im past that point my friend. If I were not a credable instructor or person,I would'nt have the 100s of ''thank you'' letters from past students, nor would the DNR have selected me to assist with the new ORV safety task force.End of story!

Is anyone else disappointed that BB wont answer any of the questions?

In all fairness to BB, it does look like hes been ambushed.

I still would like to hear your answers BB. Even if you dont think these guys deserve them.

AMBUSHED?

nope,I dont think so.What I think happens here is that some readers from Michigan know BB's background and were sick and tired of reading his garbage, and therefore chimed in on the conversations to set the story straight.

I can HONESTLY say that I never requested that even ONE person come to this topic. What floors me is the amount of Michigan veiwers that read this topic and decided it was time to respond to it.I guess even these guys can only listen to BS for so long!

OK muddy, ambushed was a bad choice of words. Overwhelmed maybe? I just wish he would take the time to reply. They dont seem like incriminating questions to me.

Stears went by the name "The Bottom Line" there. I think you'll see a couple trends that compare with this thread.

Mr. Mywifesquad,

I am just another one of the 180,000 registered users in Michigan. My intentions were not to ambush Mr. Blackballed if that is the way it came across I apologize for that.

Mr. Blackballed had some interesting statements as did his opponents. I was attempting to have the accusations set aside so I could see the real issue. I though am not bothered by his not answering my questions because in his refusal to do so I beleive he actually did.

It hit me after a few more of his posts that Mr.Blackballed must have applied for the position on the Advisory Board and was rejected by the Director of the DNR because that is how the Advisory Board members are selected. This in turn allows Mr. Blackballed to feel like he needs to attack Mr. Busyrider at every turn because Mr. Busyrider is on the Advisory Board. Then come to find out Mr. Busyrider is not even paid to take this grief, he volunteers his time.

At first Mr.Blackballed sounded as if he was very active in the ORV sport here in Michigan, which is why I asked about the Gladwin trail. According to the Advisory Board meeting Minutes (posted on the DNR website) This trail system was a "hot button" issue at the last ORV Advisory Board meeting. So I figured any person at the forefront of ORV use in Michigan would know what was going on.

As with the trail maintenance issues, I have read several posts by Mr.Blackballed about how more modern equipment is needed but I had not seen where he had posted where this equipment can be purchased. I too feel the trails need to be graded more often and would be interested in assisting with getting them graded if I knew where I could purchase the tools to do that at. He has, although posted his distain with those who are doing trail maintenance and I find out by Mr. 2trakr that it is being done by ORV clubs or in other words volunteers.

Which is why I thanked Mr. 2trakr for letting me know which clubs I may need to contact so I may be involved. I have little patience for any person who complains about what a volunteer does or does not do, and in turn does nothing themselves except make the volunteers life miserable.

In closing I beleive that the answer to the question #9, posed to Mr. Blackballed, is "yes".

I firmly beleive that Mr blackballed is actually an "Anti" posing as a ORV rider attempting to destroy the ORV community. By saying this I may even get a response from MR. Superman1 to kick my a$$ as he did Mr. Muddy, but I don't care. I said what I need to say, and I found out what I needed to know. That is.. that our trail system is in good hands and my kids will have a place to ride in the future. Thanks to the hard work from people like Mr. Busyrider, Mr. 2trakr and MR. Muddy.

Mr. Blackballed and Mr. Superman1... I can only hope you can focus your energy on an activity like stained glass or wood carving, this would be the greatest contribution you could give the ORV community.

I have made it through 5 pages and Im not sure if this is it, it does seem like it is though. That and BB definitely hates every dirt bike rider in michigan. At least thats the conclusion Im coming to.
