What is really going on in Michigan

It also allows ou to play on the ice, ride in the dunes, and the scrambles area's. I think the dunes and a few of the scrambles area's have gate fee's, I'm not that sure I don't play in those places. I do know that because this is a special use sticker it is not good in other states and others stickers are not good here. It's a lot like a hunting license, just because you bought one in Michigan doesn't mean it's good in another state.

Yes, that's for one year, from March 31 to March 31 (unless I'm getting the month wrong, have to go look).
With this sticker you can ride:
All of the ORV trails (~3000 miles).
All of the scrambles areas (some have an additional entrance fee).
All of the forest roads in the upper peninsula (thousands of miles)
All of the county roads that are open by local ordinance to ORVs (not all counties are).
Operate on the frozen surface of the lakes and waterways in the State.

Thankyou Mr. 2trakr for the information, I was going to save asking you questions until Mr. Blackballed answered the questions I asked earlier. In which I am still eagerly awaiting.

Funny how I can't even get through questioning the validity of Michigan Orv Board Chairman Ranney's first post....before Mr. Ranney starts ducking in and out of his own thread...and start getting these 'anonymous' characters in here wanting questions answered 'right away'.
I will continue to do what I always do...and that is simply take each and every statement (in order); display the statement in question for the benefit of those who have made it...then simply give the facts of the matter as I know them to be true.
What this prevents is the same "change the subject" garbage you've witnessed for 6 pages here and even the kind of "what the heck is he on/saying" nonsense you see displayed in the second post of this thread.
Fortunately, these people's bizzare behavior has done more to validate what I've been through these past years than anything I could have ever written to date (if you can tell me what 'humor' BusyRider appreciates in the third thread and what Muddy is trying to get across in the second; i'll buy you dinner)....yet I will still take the time to answer each and every one of them in order as time permits.
If the basic rules of conversation should somehow now be 'different' for all these new atvconnection 'motorcyclists' so now sincerely concerned with our sport...just tell me. Otherwise, we'll just let their actions speak for themselves until i can get the time to work down to their comments.
Thank you for your patience,
John Stears

(by the way, wouldn't it be nice if these brand new members like "theotherguy" could give us their names also?...you know, so we can be assured that their "quest for knowledge" in these multi-use matters was indeed genuine...and not seemingly regurgitated from some two-wheeled AMA pep rally?. I mean hey, TOG...if we don't know who you are...how will we ever work together on these matters?....hmmm?).

Mr. Blackballed,
I take it you refuse to answer my questions. I am not a moderator of this forum and can not force you to answer these questions. Your opponents however did not have any trouble with answering the questions presented to them and all three of you were asked some of the same questions.
Before I go further I will ask you to reconsider your position and please answer my questions. If the answers are "I don't know" then simply put that down.
Thankyou for your time.

John, I/we are awaiting your response to my questions. Go back to the post, I ask you what have you done in the past two weeks, or since the first post, or back to May. What have you done for the benefit of the sport? And documentation would compliment your response.
I do resent the fact that you accuse me of ducking out of a thread I started in response to some of your misrepresentation of fact. I do have other resposnibilites to this sport other than spending time on a P.C. that would be far more beneficial to all of us as ORV users.
I do not think I need your permission to go do other things in my life, be it related to the sport or otherwise, nor suffer from your verbal assaults when doing so. Your comments regarding such, are beyond common decency!

Ha ha ha. Stears you are more predicatable than the sunset. Let me play this one out for you, per your SOP:
1. You start or butt into a thread and raise holy hell about ORVs, Michigan, the DNR, the CCC, NOHVCC, D-14 and so on and so on. All of it wrong.
2. Somebody that is involved and is aware of what's going on interjects.
3. You continue to play the line with all your wonderful questions and accusations.
4. All of your questions are answered, all of your lies are exposed by the people from #2.
5. You claim that you must answer each post in succession and this will take time; you'll also try to distract by pointing at posts made days ago that you already replied to but have nothing to do with the current state of this thread.
6. You never answer the questions posed to you, your rhetoric continues per usual, the thread dies becuase somehow, magically, you disappear from the thread although you are not banned or blocked.
Now IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY. PROVE us all wrong. Answer the questions, don't duck out. Be the man you claim you are.
I'll bet Dick dinner at Ponderosa that Stears uses the statement above to duck out of the conversation focusing on "hand shaking" and "toothpicks" instead of answering the questions.

Mr. Blackballed
My intentions were to present this arguement with some clarity. A lot of accusations were made in this forum by both you and your opponents. As an average ORV user I was looking for the truth in all of these accusations by asking the questions I did. The questions I asked you came from comments that you have made in posts in this thread. Except for #9, I will admit here that question may have been slightly out of line although I still feel it was an appropriate question.
At first I was allowing the amount of time it took for you to respond to my questions as it being the weekend and the chance you may not be able to respond. Then after you did respond you did not answer my questions. Instead you attempted to get me to react by questioning my identity and the validity of my questions. I do not claim to be an expert in debate but this tactic is what I always called the "nana popo" part of an arguement. It's the part where a 4 year old knows he is loosing his arguement and says " oh yeah well... nana popo". Until now I had treated you with respect and only asked for answers to questions, since you resorted to 4 year old tactics I am forced to treat you like the same 4 year old.
With this I have come to this conclusion.
Mr. Blackballed. You are a bitter old man who had his feathers ruffled somehow and is looking for revenge by attempting to defame anybody who has anything to do with the ORV community, myself included.
It is obviuous that Mr. Busyrider and Mr.2trakr are hard working members of the ORV community and are looking toward the future. You are looking in the past. You will ride better by looking up the trail instead of looking at your roost.
I have also come to the conclusion that you are not a truthful, respectful man. With that you should feel shame, I suggest you take a long hard look in the mirror and decide if this is the person your mother wanted you to grow up to be.

At least you're entertaining.
