Bog with Take off?

Sounds to me like you're feeling the infamous lack of low end most banshees have. I am not a big fan of DG pipes, but they're not all that bad. They're an average performing set of pipes. My advice to you is to take a close look at that main jet. You may want to drop 1 or 2 sizes. Your "bog" may be the direct result of you pinning the throttle and being flat out too rich on top. 280 main jets sounds rich for DG pipes (at sea level).

If you REALLY want to sure up the low end then I recommend an adjustable stator plate. For $70.00 at Hi-Tech ATV you can buy one. Adjusting to +4 degrees is a piece of cake. The only extra tool you need is a $12.00 flywheel puller.

Goodluck and keep on roosting

P.S.
I have a Pro Design stator plate with +4 timing advance. I'll have to add it to my mod list. ;-) I knew I forgot something.

What does the DG pipe look like? Does the silencer has only one bracket? Is there always the DG logo?
I have pipes, that I don't know what they are.
Thanks for any info

From my experience (not saying its alot) but it seems like 2 strokes are either putting almost stalling or flat out screaming... I like it ;-)

Change your needle jet clip position. This will make the biggest difference in throttle response. Go to carbparts.com for jetting tips.

THERE COULD BE MORE TO IT .....BUT IT DOES SOUND
LIKE YOUR CARBS. I WOULD DROP THE NEEDLES 1 BY
RAISING THE CLIP. THAT SHOULD HELP....
P.S. THAINGS TO CHECK-CLEAN AIR FILTER/AIR SCREW/
AND MAKE SURE ONE OR BOTH CARB FLOATS ARE NOT STUCK OPEN!! OH YA,REEDS IN GOOD CONDITION???

I had the same problem with my shee after I put pipes on it and removed the airbox lid. I was running 300 main with stock (25) piolts and needle in stock position. I went to 30 pilots and the 'bog' went completly away.
