Got my sp600 belt wet?
unless you took it swimming, it shouldn't of gotten wet at all, the snorkel is above the level of the seat..... I think you should take it back to the dealer (assuming it's still under warranty) and tell them the seal around the cover is leaking. Otherwise you may need to check where the snorkel attaches to the cover and make sure it's tight and replace the seal.
or, ...... next time bring swim fin's and a rubber duck...

I do as lightman does. This will blow the water out, then drive slow and easy for a bit also. The clutch has an inlet and outlet for cooling. I have had mine up to the seat in water but as long as I stay moving I am ok, but if I get hung up and sit in the water then belt will get wet.
