Default HEELCLICKER CLUTCH QUESTION

Lovemud,
sounds like your quad was also used as a guinne pig for Randy?Im glad you got it straightened out and things are working out for you now.

Polarisokie,
With only 3 posts ,you DONT know anything about our conflicts. Its best that you mind your OWN bussiness and keep your nose where it belongs. And further,im certain if the ATV CONNECTION moderators thought for one minute that I was being offensive to other members, they would have allready advised me.And since you are not a moderator, its NOT YOUR call.

Happy Trailing,
Bill

Default HEELCLICKER CLUTCH QUESTION

One question on the Heelclicker guarantee. I don't have all the tools to install the system myself. So the dealer will have to do the modification. Now there will be a few changes I am sure, so a couple trips will be involved. At the hourly rate my dealer charges this will be a pretty good chunk of change. IF the system eventually don't do what I expect, will heelclicker pay the mechaincs fees too?

Default HEELCLICKER CLUTCH QUESTION

Cob,
I was just talking to Randy and Dan yesterday. There seems to be some disagreement between them as to the fix. Randy seems to think lighter weights, dan seemd to think heavier spring in the secondary. Dan say's he currently testing the heel-x and he says he has plans to try it on a 600 this time. Honestly, I guess I'm a little gun shy, after my experience I would have to talk to a few people who have actually tried it on a 600 before I'd consider buying it.

I'm interested in what you find out with the lighter wejghts. I'm not so sure the engagement will be low enough... I look forward to your post, thanks for testing a 600

Sourmash you are on your own on the install it only covers the kit, that is more than any other kit manufactor will cover. The install is no biggie and if the dealer is making a big deal out of it you need find another dealer. Before you take it to dealer pull the 4 bolts out of running board, pull the clutch cover, take to dealer. Watch your ankle it will smart if you get rapped with the clutch. It would take them less than 15 minutes to pull the primary install the washer and have back on machine. You can change the weights yourself, just matter of one bolt and nut for each weight. you may need do some fileing so weight shifts all the way out. What that amounts to is fileing the casting seam. The secondary spring is no biggie, all this is covered with pictures on the HEELCLICKER site. You can call DAN or me we can walk you through the whole thing.

Default HEELCLICKER CLUTCH QUESTION

Cob,
on a serious note here.Dont you feel that Dan and Randy should be testing these Heel Clickers out on various ATVs first before they put them out on the market for customers to purchase?Im sorry, but making the CUSTOMER the guinne pig here for their Heel Clicker product is not my idea of good customer relations, whether they refund you your money back or not.Im sure that Randy or Dan could EASILY find ONE volunteer per differant ATV application that would be willing to give these H/C experts their ATVs for reserch/developing in exchange for a free kit? This would eliminate these CUSTOMERS from doing experiments with these kits.

Aftermarket exhaust companies tell you what size rejeting you'll need to do,and what type of airbox mods you'll need for their exhaust systems on EACH differant application. How would it work if the aftermarket exhaust companies told you to buy their exhaust systems without rejetting/airbox specs ect?

I hope our frustrations are over, and I look forward to your response.

Bill

Default HEELCLICKER CLUTCH QUESTION

I have read on other forums that the heelclicker clutch kit doesn't do much for the 600 due to the way it's set-up, but just changing the primary spring will give you overall improvement at alot less cost.
