as of now we know about all upcoming 2005 sleds and things are interesting. bombardier has released the mach z 1000 sdi. claimed 165 hp. the machine is black and is the top muscle sled for ski-doo. the top machine for polaris in 2005 is the fusion 900. it puts 158.2 hp. artic cat top cat for 2005 is still the zr 900 with 151.1 hp. and yamaha 2005 rx-1 with 140 hp. my favorite machine of the muscle sled is the polaris fusion 2005 because it has already beaten bombardier in hillclimbing competition with the rmk 900 2005 not too long ago. so the big mach z and its summit 1000 counterparts are clearly not so mighty even with the cc advantage. there was lots of rumours about these machines power output but these are the numbers you are gonna see right from the factory. and rmk 900 has a 166 inches track this year woaaahhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!

from what i see on all the snowmobiles forum the bombardier company has won its marketing strategy because most of the people are truly dissapointed of 2005 polaris and artic cat will remain near the bottom. yamaha has no pretention and seems to be happy in the very bottom of the ladder. the trick is very simple if you want to be a the top. release the biggest and baddest machine and that is what bombardier has just done with the 2005 mach z 1000 sdi. the muscle sleds represents 50% of the market share and bombardier was wise again. they have the most impressive lineup in 2005 and the mach z is a very nice looking machine and very muscular. while the polaris fusion has very questionable appearance! and about the rmk 900 beating the summit 1000! ha! i just learned it was because the summit had its front arms broken hi hi! no joke! can you imagine a 1000 cc twin with power valves with aftermarket twin pipes and clutch kit!!! this thing is gonna flat out fly! but anyway the polaris fusion 900 w'ont be far behind.
