Sportsman6x6 vs. Traxter XL
#1
Ok, whats up with this deal here???? I have taken some abuse the last couple of days in a few chat rooms about how this new Traxter XL is going to tear the Sp6x6 in to pieces. My personal oppinion is "Aint no 4x4 going to hang with a 6x6." I am planning on getting 25" Vamps and I am still building up the money. I would definately go up against this XL without a doubt. Now that I am getting Vamps, I can be labeled as almost unstoppable.........well.......not unstoppable but there is not a lot that I cant go through. Let me know what yall think about all this, thanks for your posts.

I, and I'm sure other readers, are flattered you ask our opinion. However, I believe what you want is the most important factor--if you like your 6X6, keep it!
Whether a 6x6 or 4x4 can successfully cross a given mudhole, well . . . what difference does it make? I mean, after all; this ain't the Olympics, is it?
And, though maybe it's fun, what is settled by abstract arguments about which ATV will best which ATV, when the participants have no experience base? Do you think Cassius Clay could knock out Joe Louis, both in their prime? (I doubt it, but whatever I think is as irrelevant as which ATV I think is the better mudder.)
"There ain't a horse that can't be rode; there ain't a cowboy that can't be throwed." Don't think your trick-tired 6X6 is invincible. I've seen a Polaris 6X6 stuck--just as high-centered as you please. I've also seen 4X4's stuck--so what? Winches and tow straps address that contingency.
Ride what you like. Who cares what others think?

I think the XL will be a better trail machine cause it is smaller. But if you're gonna buy something that big how often will you go trail riding with it? I think the Sp6x6 will beat the XL in the work department, with the Xl taking the 6x6 in the trails.
But I wonder which one jumps better?????(in the wise words of Dirt Wheels)
