I think you are ok. My belt rides where there is about a 1/4 of the belt above the secondary halves. With a new Dayco belt my quad will even creep forward until I get an hour or so on it. The 1/4 turn is really 1/4 to 1/3. The real idea is to get over the closest helix angle. Heck I turned mine backwards twice before I got it right.

running in the 3-2 position, thats 3 on sheave and 2 on drum, will give you a faster shift out, meaning the bike will get up on top end on the clutches faster. sometimes this can make a bike feel a little slower on hills and on and off the throttle. teh 2-2 will give a better back shift and not let the driven clutch expand, or shift out, as quicly. i would say to run it in the 2-2 and see how it feels. ive ran the aaen roller on several bikes, right now on my 400 sport. i use a lower degree helix for woods and tight trails and then set up the drive clutch by riding and tuning it. the higher degrees are for drags and open, less hilly terrain. olav sent us his book when we first started clutch tuning, took a while to figure it out, but when you do WOW there are some impressive gains to be made in the clutch set up.

so is everything working ok now?

one quick note then gotta go. you have 2 shims in and 1 3/4 deflection. dont need to add any, could take one out tho. but if the belt is older or has a lot of riding on it, you may just need to change it. glad i was able to help ya. Jeff

ps just sold a modded 250 tb, cant wait to do another. those are a blast to ride!
