I'm going to be buying a wheeler soon, and was set on the new king quad, but now I dont know if I want to spend $7000+ so I was considering a used grizzly or a sportsman 700. So I was wondering how does the sportsman compare to the griz or the kq? Also how does the 600 compare or is the 700 worth the extra $$ ?

I never rode a griz or KQ, but if power is important to you, go with the 700 over the 600. It's not significant, but noticable. Polaris make a good machine with a lot of nice features. Compare features and test drive all the models you're interested in purchasing and go with the one you feel suits you best.

the way that the system works on a polaris is that you have RWD ever when in selected 4x4 until the system sences the rear wheels slip then the front wheels engage with full tourq

In my humble opinion go with the 700. You wont be sorry. I have never
been on the KQ however A guy I ride with has the griz. It has some nice features,
but when you look at the overall picture I think polaris is the way to go.
Like I said this is just my OPINION.
