polaris 330 magnum fan not working
I have a 2004 polaris magnum 330 4x4, The fan on the oil cooler stoped working. I have wired the fan directly to the battery and it works fine. I bought a new temp sensor that screws into the oil cooler along with the connector that goes with it and it still the fan wont kick on when it gets hot. Any one know how to fix the problem???

Trace out the wires that go to the sensor...........If you jump out the two wires on the sensor..........Does the fan come on then??
Does it come on all the time ?
Maybe the outside temp is too cold for it(fan) to cut in!!...........Just some ideas...........Caper.............

polaris 330 magnum fan not working
When I unhook the wire from the sensor the fan runs as soon as the key is turned on. Thats how I have been running it for the last few month. The Fan used to kick in fairly often untill one day while riding it started to loose power and backfire when opened up, thats when I noticed the fan wasnt running. When I put the new sensor on I ran the engine untill the cooling radiator would sizzle water when dripped on it. I would think that would be hot enough to turn on the fan. Thanks for the help. Would anyone know what the temp shoul be before the fan turns on??
