Thanks to all for your suggestions! I tried everything (except the vacuum cleaner!) and finally went to the dealer and they got it out for $20, without removing the tank. They had a really good grappling tool and took it out in 3 seconds. Then I got an oil change, etc, etc and 300bucks later, she's running like a champ again! Thanks to all, this is a great forum!

Glad you got it out.........even though you got ####### in the process!
I can't understand why an oil change on a quad costs so much more compared to an automobile.
People around here complain about paying $25 for a lube,oil, and filter change on a car!!!LOL!

frist thing you do is go to the wood pile and find a stick that is bent to the exact shape of your tank.Now you light it and after a moment of watching the flame so that it dont go out,Shove it deep in the area that you think your nozzle is.Oh yea the extra light in the tank helps guide the end of the stick into the nozzle end for easy removal. easy as that as that "your welcome for the red neck advice".
