RolliePollie and/or 5J's -
Did you get your springs yet? Well I got them today, whippee! But when I unboxed them and looked
at the instructions it says 2005-2007, but I matched the Part numbers to this thread all looks good. When
I look at the instructions it has the steering post removal, strut replacement and and steering rod.
I thought all I need to do is remove the cargo box and the top strut bolts? Please advise!

Rtick, if you are just replacing the springs you don't have to do all the instructions tell you to do. Those instructions cover the actual removal and replacement of the struts if I remember correctly. All I did when I did mine was to take off the front box (not a problem), jack up the front end so the tires are barely touching the ground, and take the top nut off the assembly so the spring can be removed. I had to put a small socket on the end of the shock piston rod so I could turn the nut that holds the assembly in place. The only thing to be careful of is lifting the front end so far that the tire is hanging in midair for a long time. Hope this helps.

Yea Moose has got ya covered....When I did mine after I jacked the front end up just to get the tires just off the ground I think I had to slightly jack the machine up slightly to get the strut out of the bracket...Very easy to do and no compressors needed to do the fronts....Once the box is out of your way, you have plenty of room....If I remember correctly you'll need a 3/8" socket to hold the top of the strut from turning then a 3/4" open end wrench to remove the large nut....Piece of cake guys......Just remember, leave the tires on and don't jack it up too far.....
