Default 850 xp belts

back on the trail now!! got her fixed no hassle at all.. the store manager delt with it as i felt he should had... service manager was nice today as well... i'll stick with em at got gear and give em another shot i reckon.. just wish they weren't so dam far away! lets see if this belt lasts any longer than the other if not there has got to be another problem with the bike right?

I would think that if this belt fails, it has to be something besides the belt. As I said previously, you should not be able to make a belt fail on purpose in such a short period of time. That is unless you just nosed it up against a tree in high and just burned it up on purpose. Hard, even abusive riding should not do this. It would have to be something unique to that machine and I don't just mean an 850 Polaris, but that particular bike. One would think if there was an inherent design flaw this would be more widespread.

No matter how good your quality control is, a bad belt or part can always slip by. Good luck.

MAKE SURE they check the clutch ALIGNMENT! Not just slap a belt on it.

Get a receipt for the work completed IN DETAIL. You may need this documentation down the road for a variety of reasons.
