Default Templates not matching

Thor, for some reason the templates you sent me don’t match the WARN RT2500 winch the dealer installed. My winch is mounted to the left (looking from the front) of the template. Actually it looks a lot like the position that you and Chuck have in your photos above.

However the templates do match up with one of the two different outlines on the cover that you mentioned above. Just checking before I get going with the Rotozip. Perhaps I screwed something up in printing the templates.

I'll be taking things apart for a couple of upgrades in the next week so I'll check the dealer install for adjustments. Does the cover just snap over the existing Polaris label on the front plastic above the winch?

i used the warn 3.0ci/3.0ce cutout for mine. yes you put the bottom tabs in first then clip the top on. iv been thinking about adding 2 black screws to hold mine on. but havent had no problems with it as of yet. i will see if i can get my diagram up. oh when i started to cut mine out i left about an inch smaller so i had room to adjust so i cut it just perfect.

I'm going to us ethe templates I got from thor and just move them about an inch to the left.

How much room do you have to reach the release on the right end of the winch?

While I was at it last night I took off the front storage to have a look inside, great access with it off. I realigned the winch while I was at it - it wasn't level.

Do any of you guys know what that grey lump of metal (with wires and fins) mounted in front of the radiator is?

I don't think it's the ecm - what I'm talking about is in front of the radiator under the storage compartment and right behind the winch mount.
