most recent atv's have an override reverse switch- I was told overriding these safety switches could cause serious damage if operated at high speeds while in reverse in AWD or 4WD.
I personally don't mind the safety switch, it's a pita when plowing, but like mentioned above, things get tricky pretty fast if you make a wrong move while in reverse at high speed- very easy to role it IME.
I agree that the limiter is a good thing but then again I need to have reverse at the throw of the switch, and not have the machine sound like it sick every time I try to use it. thanks 4 the input
I have a 2003 polaris 250 trailblazer 2 Stroke. When i put it in reverse it does nothing and dies down and stalls it doesn't go even holding the override button. I was told i could fix this by bypassing the over ride but all videos and nothing's gives me any information on this particular atv. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
This set up is completely different.
