Default 2005 magnum 330 no throttle

I can get the atv to start and idle, but as soon as I throttle up it will quit. I cleaned out the fuel system and used an ethenol treatment. Any help will be greatly appreciated

If you are certain the carb jets and needle and seat are ok, and that fuel is fairly fresh(treatment won't help stale gas too much) then check the air box inlet tube that rests up against the tank. We had several that wouldn't take throttle until we found that the inlet tube flushed up against the fuel tank when you sat on the seat which blocked the air flow. We ended up using a hack saw to cut the tube at a steeper angle. Hope this helps. OPT

Thank you for the info. I had to pull the carb and clean the jets. I hate the ethenol in todays fuel. I thought that by running the system dry and emptying out the bowl I would not have any problems. WRONG !!! I'm going to purchase pure gasoline from now on. Again, Thank you for your help.

Running "dry" just attracts moisture! Best actually to keep a full tank! Along with that "pure" gasoline if you can find it,add some marine Stabil!(the BLUE Stabil not the RED) Just double dose it and can preserve fuel up to two years and helps remove water from the fuel!I'm a firm believer after having to pull all four of my carbs with just "plain" Stabil in it and having to clean em up! Plus there's a new product called Star Tron enzyme treatment that a couple guys I know use that they've had good luck with! Good luck OPT

I've heard of Star Tron (never used it yet)& another product that I use in my 2 stroke power equipment that has worked well called Ethanol Shield. It has kept the rubber daiphrams and gaskets in good condition over the non use season, but I'm definitely going to use pure gas. Thanks again for your help and advice. ps. I'm going to ride them more often too.
