scrambler 500 4x4 chain and sprockets

i have a 98 scrambler 500 4x4 and am coming up on a chain and sprocket change...i know they changed the swing-arm in like 00 or 01? and am wondering if the chain length and sprockets stayed the same thru the years

76 link rear 520 o-ring chain for years 1998-2012. RK,DID,Regina are three good brands. Polaris switched between RK and DID on different year models.
