Jenny going back to your origanl post ..to say people should say anything negative about Polaris ...is wrong..people should post anything they dislike or like about polaris or any other brand..That's what these fourms are for...I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 and there's thing I like and dislike..

Rincon, since you totally missed the point. The design concept of the floorboards, not the exact floorboards (can't believe I had to spell that one out). Hey King, did you catch the Eveleth/Gilbert riding area in the new Dirt Wheels?

Ken....who cares what you ride, just join a club, and save a trail. Yes, they too will eventually read this, and maybe it'll even sink in.

Hey ken,

I think you called it just right, we do have a couple
of kids on our hands. And the way mxz keeps saying to grease
the belt he must of tried. haaahaaaa. I would almost bet
what has happened considering that the polaris blew up is that
he greased the belt it wouldn't move so he kept reving up the
machine to get it to go, and by not checking any fluids burning
up the motor. (moron error not machine).
I will tell you what if you want to race just let me know,
we will be planning a trip to little shara, OK in a couple of months
it will be on the sand.
If it is ok with your parents if you can go that far.....

Mrs. Bubba

P.s. Can you handle being beat by a woman???
Some egos can't cope....

Evan,

As a pilot in the states, Planes are only gone through every 100 hours if they are rentals. Otherwise it's annually regarless of hours.

And your are right, There is a difference between a turbine and a piston motor. Bombardier makes both. As far as I know Bombardier and VW are the only one's that are FAA certified in the US. Aside from major manufactures such as Lycoming But no Polaris.

Now as a pilot, I can tell you that if your worth your salt, you wont die if an engine fails. Planes will glide if the unthinkable ever happens. I know, As I experience such a failure and I was able to glide to the nearest airport 13 miles away from 6000 feet.

Hey Bubba, and Mrs. Bubba great laughs!!!

And as a jet tech in the states, I'll also tell you that Polaris is a division of Textron....and there be some aviation technologies, and parts there.

Bubba, I sure would like to try Little Sahara. I wonder how it compares to Silver Lake (which is a total blast, with REALLY nice people). Might have to trek south.

Silver Lake is on the West side of Michigan. Right on lake Michigan. I'm gonna try to get there in August, also gonna try to catch the sand drags down in Rick Ritters turf (St. Louis area). Gonna be a busy month. REALLY looking forward to the dealer show at the end of this month. Should be fun!!
