IF I understand your test results right then the DALTON KIT had the best times from 0-50,then the HEELCLICKER had the second fastes times followed buy the DALTON and HEELCLICKER combined for the lowest times. Is this the correct way to understand your post ?

So, it sounds like the Dalton gave you the best top speed, but what kit would you say is the best for trail riding with an occasional mud bog and a little rock hopping ? also did either kit have any effect on your gas mileage ?

Samclow,
I think the times were all pretty close if you add in human error(that would be me)
One thing I keep thinking of is ,,,if the dalton would hook up and not lay out so much rubber then the times would be different.Right?

I couldent pick which one is better at this time
I can tell you that one is no better then the other.
I'v had them both in the mud and trails
2 thumbs up for both
I havent gone rock climbing with the Dalton so ???I would think it would be great .
The HC is great on the rocks.

if you are laying rubber with the dalton kit then that probably means itshooking up on the belt really hard off the line
the h/c kit would then be a little softer off the line but harder at the finish

do you think that is a good assumption?

i just put 28's on my 700 and want to make up the loss in power due to the larger diameter

Why would it be harder at the finish?

Why not do the tests in 4 wheel drive?, that way it will be hooking up more. Also i now a guy that took the clutch's from his mom's 500 and put them in his 700.He said that it was to scary as it was wheelieing at will in high range. He said it really woke it up but to much for him.

Anyone tryed this and what are the difference between the 2.Don't know him that well so it might be a load of crap he told me. see ya
