Default high prefomence parts for 1996 Magnum 425

i am looking into geting high preformence parts for my 96 Magnum 425 4x4 i have a k&n but what else do they make for it . all i do is trail ride so i am looking for tourk but i want to smoke my friends on the roads.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Default high prefomence parts for 1996 Magnum 425

Had the same question on my 425 expedition.Installed white bros exhaust off of my 500 scrambler (had to fab brackets).mucho torque down low,also had k&n w/jet kit .would run about 55 w/27' 589's.

ok a white bros exhaust off of a 500 scrambler will fit onto a 425 motor? what kind or braketd did you need to make? how did you?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

the white bros exhaust i had was a silencer only.Look at your donut flange at the end of your head pipe,should be the same.Now look underneath where the stock pipe would mount to the frame using the rubber bushing & bolt.There is a bolt that run through the support.Measure the length from bolts with pipe installed on donut.Use mounting holes on sliencer to mount pipe to brackets that were fabbed.An "L" shape is what you should end up with.

Hot Seat Performance makes a bigger carb for the Magnum 425. You could also put a clutch kit in the magnum. The clutch kit would make a big difference.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

ftwflh was their a huge diffrence after you put all of that on[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]? how much did it all cost you?where did you get it all from? how hard was it to put it all on or did you have someone put it on for you?

The clutch springs made the most improvement for the cost(around $40)THe Supertrapp made a quite abit too.The main reason i put it on was that it was cheaper than a stock muffler which was burned out.I got it NIB off of Ebay for $100 shipping and everything.Eceryone on her must get fed up with me and Ebay but I have found more great deals on there than you can imagine.

hey ftwflh i agree that ebay is great i got a set of golf cart tires for my golf cart for $25 and they were almost new. that will be the first thing i will order the clutch springs. where should i get them from? i have alredy ordered the white bros on it the modification worked good but i had alittle trubble at first, thanks 401, and thankyou ftwflh
