I'm sorry; I probably didn't say that right and knew about HPD (thanks for making sure).

I got your part #'s printed out and appreciate your patience in regards to me asking about anything 'new' ; now and then.

I would sure hate doing this 'by the book' again; the last time I bought the Hot Seat part and had them use OEM ends at their shop; when I ran out of time to do the job myself.
Boy has she ever went downhill since then.

Thanks,

John

Be sure to get the bushings listed, too. They are needed as the hole in the eye of the tie rod end is bigger than the bolt that fits into the strut. I am sure you read that in my earlier post, but I would hate for you to have to pay 2 sets of shipping charges to get all the parts out. Also, be sure to measure your tie rod end size. If it isn't 1/2 inch size, fine thread, reply back with the proper size, and I can look up the proper part # for you. Polaris used at least 2, and maybe 3 sizes of tie rod ends. The 2 I know they used for sure are 3/8 and 1/2.

Will damage occur if the play isn't fixed? I've noticed some play in mine.

I'll check the ends this week; didn't realize that they had played around with these things that much.

Thanks,

John

Mr. Ace,

Just like our (now golfing) Red Wings..................sloppy play in somewhat worn out parts seem to make everything come unglued 'faster'

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Got my HPD lower bushing and put it in today! It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be had it changed in an hour and a half.Only bad part was I had to woller out the holes to fit the 1/4 in bolts due to the fact you cant get a drill in there had to use a Dremmel but all went well. Now I can tell how bad the post is bent.I think I can handle the bars being off a litle before I change the post out. Thanks for the input Brad
