Does The Eiger tow?
#23
The Eiger Tows quite well. I use it to load and move my 5 x 8 utility trailer full of debris(1100-1200lbs). Cake walk. I also use it to lug around fishing boat(700lbs)and get it ready to attach to the truck. Again easy.
The Eiger also plows very well. Very versatile. I will never buy a snow blower again...What fun are those???. Stand for hours and move 24" wide sections of snow Or sit and plow walls of it???, the best part is when you are done you go spin doughnuts and jump the mounds of snow in the area you just cleared...AWESOME!!!!....

Your responses are great. A person has to take notice at the rear axle of the Eiger in comparison to the Bruin(slightly cheaper). The Bruin(my wifes)has a mono swing arm in back with some folded up thing for a trailer ball. The Eiger also has a swingarm but it encompases the whole axle(both sides of differential) it also has a beefy ball mount in comparison to the bruin. By appearences it is ready for work. Specs for tongue weight are also three times that of the bruin.
I have plastered this site with questions trying to figure out what the deal is with the Eiger. I always assumed that bikes were comperable in price due to features. But when a person compares these two entry level bikes something doesnt add up. The Eiger is about $250 otd more, but then you get more motor, low range, full instrumentation, better rear axle set-up, it is 7.5 inches longer, 2.5 inches wider and rides better. Do I need to go on? They both have very similar drive belt systems so that cant be it. So whats the deal, are yamhas just that much better or are suzukis just that much cheaper?

I just this weekend pulled a guy who was 300lbs or more whos warrior broke down out of a nasty hole, he was about 1/2 the way up this clay hill and had about 25 more feet to go I did use low range and also he was in so deep of ruts that his tires were not hitting the ground most of the time, It was raining and I also am over 300lbs. I even was amazed with the ease of the pull. I thought we were going to have to winch him for sure.
