well was riding trails and such yesterday when i felt my throttle was acting a little funny. It seemed like it kept sticking. Well was riding a back a long narrow path in 4th gear and went to let off throttle and yea she didn't slow down. It was right at a Y in the path and i was following my friend on his old 3 wheeler. He went towards the left and i went right because i knew i was gunna fly into him. Also the path going right was banked a little bit so i got air flying over it and laned on a path that ended about 300 ft or less in front of me. I just switched off the run switch and yay i rolled to a stop. I now realise the reason you don't fly through water holes in 4th gear because, you get all the mud and coal-dirt/ water on the pivot point on the thumb throttle and it makes it want to stick. I just realise that i was da*n lucky, for my sake and my lt230's lol. Man if that Y wouldn't have been in the trail ide be screwed right now lol, Dude that woulda hurt, kissing a tree at in 5th gear. But ide do it so i wouldn't hurt a friend. It happens

just took a wire wheel on a drill and cleaned them up, then plain old spraypaint.....that one is to sell, so i wasnt too meticulous about it
well i just increased my work load. i will be building 2 230 quadsports at the same time. Complete engine up restore. my little brother bought one for himself and now i get to restore it too. plus i may have another 230 for myself, for $50. the guy cant get it runnin and is tired of dealing with it so he said he'd rather sell it than pay to have it worked on again. so if i get it ,and if anyone that lives near ohio and wants it, i'll fix it myself and make sure its perfectly safe, then i will haggle on the price.
I have almost finished my case saver. I have changed the design a little, but its starting to look good and it fits correctly, so everything should go good hopefully. I just have to weld some spots and then sand it. The only reason I am spending so much time on a case saver is because i'm switching my center cases on the 250s engine this week, and I'm sick of having cracked center cases.
