i will post pics soon. there is a video of the accident but i will not post it. i dont care to watch it, i tried watching it once and i couldnt get through it, its one of those times i wish it didnt happen. Losing my 230 was crappy to say the least but seein my body tossed like a rag doll, makes me sick to my stomach. My wife watched the video and told me that i should give up ridin. they say you learn alot from accidents, and i learned more than i care to admit.

I will post the pics of how many pieces my dad had to cut the Mistress into to extract the engine. thats the only pics i got is the pieces. thankfully the engine survived. i just sent the new frame out for sandblasting today, so new build pics to come. i got tons of paint now and i am ready to get going on paint. and i am still tinkering with my engine so it will take about 3 weeks, maybe more, to complete The Mistress 2.0. i cant ride for a little while still so i am going to take it slow. once i get her completed i will return to my buddys track and race it again.

if anyone is interested in what their top spped on a 230 is, go to page 944. Justrandy post a neat table that shows all the different sprocket combos and the estimated top speeds.

i'm having trouble with my 1986 Suzuki 230 lts, it has the following Full cobra exhaust, UNI air filter, Std bore wisesco piston, i have ran it that way for a few years with no problems, it had a great low end and a blow your hat off top, but now it has some issues i went to start it up one day and it runs like crap. The Problems: on low end say just about 1/8 throttle their is a flat spot it just when you add the throttle it doesn't rev up any more but once you hit a certain throttle say just below 1/5 throttle it revs up normally it almost jerks as soon as you hit that throttle position, it runs perfect, it idle's high as well but i think thats because the carb was a little gumed up but right now i have the whole carb sitting in a gallon of carb cleaner, i also put a new spark plug in it cleaned the air filter, checked the exhaust. THANK YOU for the help I cleaned up the carb really good but no change.

Hey trailrider, I have a question for you. You know that gold piece that sticks out of the inside clutch side engine case, on the inside case between the outside case right above the clutch. Mine broke off. I'm assuming it connects to the oil pump, does it matter if it broke off as long as the whole is clear? Do you know?
