Well i rechecked my valves my exhaust was right on but my intake was well not. It was actrually about .006-.007 i was kinda excited at that point because i thought i figured my problem so i readjusted it back down set it at .0015 put it all back together. Problem still there. cracking it from idle to 1/2 throttle doesn't do it. cracking it from idle to wot it has the studder. I think im frustrating myself and everyone else with this constant hasle
Maybe from idle to WOT is just to much intake from idle. Seeing now my duration is larger its taking in a heck of alot more.

Are you sure it didn't do that before? I don't think any engine will go from idle to wot that fast without an accelerator pump.

So is it any more powerful with the new cam?

I do think i lost a lil bit of low end, but when you said you wouldn't have noticed if you didn't do the donuts i started to get a lil worried. Now i have a straight away on my property its maybe 100-125 yards long i usta be able to tach out 4th and just beable to get into 5th now i can almost tach out 5th gear on it . Just cruising i feel just a huge amount of power and torque. It very well could have did it before i put the new cam in maybe i was just oblivious to it. Oh and i tried what u said turning my idle screw out as far as i could the piolet screw still did squat i might have to take the carb apart and clean it.

Could be the pilot is plugged.

Yup, if you have something to measure one cam to the other like your 100 yard straight, you can tell the difference, but without that its hard to tell... that's what I was saying. Now when I come off the 230 and swing a leg over the raptor, I don't need a benchmark to know its more powerful

z400s are beast! If you ever plan on buyin one tho be sure to check around the front sprocket, thrown chains bust the crankcase on those, not like our $150 mag covers

You don't have to be a fan to know the thing is crazy strong. I had 50 lbs of lead weights strapped to the front bumper to hold the front end down so I can steer. Otherwise the only way to steer the thing is to let off the gas. Its pretty scary!
