85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.
My project is currently on a standstill until I can get home from college this weekend. I will take pics then of what I have done so far. My bottom end is done, trailrider the shifting problems I had are no more. Also, if anyone has any problems getting those screws out where the shifter drum connects, I have a very simple and easy tool to use, I will take a pic of it later, it took my a whole 3 minutes to get all the screws out. I would recommend replacing them with allen head versions of the same type of screw, you can buy them at your local hardware for like 25 cents. I will take pics when I get home this weekend of the project so far, its coming along great. New bearings in the rear axle. New bolts all around in the rear axle. Banshee tie rods. White brothers front bumper. Banshee dg alluminum nerf bars. New white and black nerf bar nets I had professionally sewed, the guy did a very nice job. I welded up one of my a-arms where the ball joint connects. I also got brand new all ***** ball joints. Brand new bearings all around inside the engine. Polished alluminum side cases, they look like chrome, they are amazing. Fresh engine paint on the a-arms and fresh paint on the front shocks springs, only the springs. Its looking pretty nice so far but I have put about 500 into it including the new engine and the $50 that I paid for it. Long post sorry guys.
55 watts. I'd need to bump output up to at least 60watts to be able to run both the head and tail lights.
I see the 250r uses 2 lighting coils and outputs about 130 watts. Anyone know if you can just use on of the 250r coils in place of the one on the 230 and get 65 watts out of it?

Well the lighting coil on this thing took a beating before I got it. The person I got it from decided it would be a good idea to hook up 2 halogen fog lights to the front plastics . It still outputs, but its weak as hell. I'm hoping to come up with a way to run a bigger coil, or even convert it to run 2 like the 250r.
Foud one. In case anyone else is curious and wants to boost their system, one of these will work: Ricky Stator
