High compression will make it run hot. PV=nrT. P goes up, so does T. Lean jetting makes it hot too. I don't know why.

I think I came up with a solution for everyone who has a TM28 carb on their LT. I am going to purchase a prejetted TM28 at 180$ by sudco. I'm curious if anyone wants to pitch in 10 bucks since a bikebandit carb is 110 not jetted. I'm asking if you guys want to put our heads together and get this **** over with?

-I started a post. Let me know if you guys are in for 10 bucks.. if you dont have one, man they are sooo worth it!

Welcome spanker! Its highly unlikely to beat 335. Its a wonder that goki even still makes them. Mine is hard to start too. I'm looking into the primary coil being the problem. Maybe its a weak spark at kicking speed. I've already been thru the carb 10,000 times it seems.

you want to pitch in for the carb specs since i'm breaking down and getting one from sudco? it is pricey.

 

don't bother with a starter.. then u need a battery and a shaft drive harness.. & the charging system wont take it.

 

Anyone interested in dropping a Mikuni TM28 on their LT230 I just bought one from sudco and would be glad to split the 65$ tuning fee with anyone here.
